Mr. Tabjeel Ashraf is a seasoned professional in transportation and logistics, currently serving as a Director at the National Highway Authority (NHA), Government of Pakistan. As an independent consultant, he leverages his expertise to drive innovation and efficiency across various sectors. Mr. Ashraf has held significant leadership roles, including Director General at the Planning and Development Board, Government of Punjab, where he led the formulation of the country's first Monitoring & Evaluation Policy and supervised over 9,000 development projects.
With over 20 years of experience as a policy advisor, organizational leader, project manager, and research scientist, he brings invaluable insights to his role as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). At SDSB, he teaches courses including Logistics Management, Advanced Analytics in Healthcare, Supply Chain Systems and Analytics, and Applied Research and Analysis to MS and MBA students. He has also taught as a Professor of Practice at Bahria University and as a visiting faculty at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and COMSATS University Islamabad.
Mr. Ashraf holds a Master of Applied Science in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. He also completed a Special Program in Urban and Regional Studies at MIT. He earned his Master of Project Management from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) and obtained both his MS in Transportation Engineering and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore. His professional certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (RMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA, and PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from AXELOS, UK.
His areas of expertise encompass last-mile transportation, sustainable supply chain management, transportation and logistics policy, warehouse operations, network design, facility location optimization, supply chain and healthcare analytics, strategic organizational design, risk management, project management, process reengineering, manufacturing operations, machine learning, deep learning, optimization, and simulations.
