LUMS Alumna Named Among Forty Under 40 Global Changemakers

LUMS proudly celebrates Fiza Farhan (BSc 2008), a distinguished alumna and Member of the LUMS Board of Trustees, for being recognised as one of the Forty Under 40 Global Changemakers in the Sustainable Development category. She is the only Pakistani to receive this prestigious recognition, awarded for her remarkable contributions to climate action, gender equality, and inclusive development. The honour was conferred at the recent Global Changemakers Summit held in Dubai.
An economist and impact entrepreneur, Fiza has consistently pushed boundaries to redefine the landscape of sustainable growth, not just in Pakistan, but across the Global South. Through her work with international organisations and her role as a global advisor on inclusive climate finance and gender equity, she has played a pivotal role in shaping policy and empowering underrepresented communities.
